Hosted around May every year.


Llum BCN | Poble Nou
Llum BCN is a premier European light arts festival and a cultural event close to the hearts of the people of Barcelona. Organised by Barcelona City Council, Llum BCN reaches its fourteenth edition with an artistic programme that turns urban spaces into a new stage highlighting the possibilities of the language of light in transforming public spaces, with artistic projects based on photography, audiovisual elements, design, architecture, stage design, the digital arts and contemporary art, in a demonstration of the infinite creative possibilities of light. Over three days, the Poblenou neighbourhood and the areas around Pl. Glòries will be the epicentre of the city’s cultural activity.

Arts Santa Mònica | Raval
Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica, more commonly abbreviated as Arts Santa Mònica, is a public venue in Barcelona, opened in 1988, for exhibiting contemporary art. It is located in the Raval side of Rambla de Santa Mònica. It hosts a number of exhibitions of contemporary Spanish and international artists every year. Free entry.
