Online Calligraphy Courses

After a decade of teaching calligraphy, in 2024 I launched all my calligraphy courses as self-paced learning experience. Join a global community of students learning about the art of writing!

I teach broad-edge pen Roman Capitals, Modern Carolingian, Italic calligraphy, Neuland and Blackletter calligraphy for beginners. I specialise in Copperplate and script brush pen calligraphy. Check my online calligraphy courses, and looking forward to having you in class!

Educational Website

WritingCalligraphy.com is the culmination of many years of hands-on calligraphy practice and study. It has been created with the intention of educating and bringing a contemporary light to calligraphy and its close relationship to its younger cousin, typography—two elements that have always been present in my career since 2011.
