This project is a private commissioned for a custom wedding gift.
My client, a close friend of the bride and groom, briefed me with a list of concepts and topics that the couple love. I decided to create an illustration using the date of their wedding day as the main focus.
Every number of the artwork features their special connection with a topic or a memory. The illustration includes their daughter and their own names with the special wishes “today and forever”.
Hand-illustrated fonts: Worthe Numerals by House Industries, Memoriam III by Patrick Griffin and AW Conqueror Slab Light by Jean François Porchez.
