La Lió Textile Print Design

Second scarf design under my own design label called MarchTwentyTwo. Textile design in collaboration with Laura Piera.

The name La Lió is the colloquial name that is commonly used to refer to the Lyon-Barcelona Company, which is Laura’s grandfathers patterned fabric factory, established in the 1930’s. This company became the initial point of influence and inspiration for us to start our own label.

This pattern talks about the flora and fauna, elements that constantly appear in our designs. Laura and I met each other for the first time in Australia, a place where the nature has a big presence and that has influenced very much our work.

We like creating patterns that can take us to a specific time or a place, and connect this moment with our day-to-day lives.

  • Limited edition of 51 scarves
  • Composition: 100% Silk Crep
